PUYA - PUYA (1995)

Here's the first CD release by Puerto Rico's Latin aggro kings. It features Ramón Ortiz, currently with L.A.'s Ankla, on guitars and was released by Canadian label NoizBoyz Records. It features mostly Spanish lyrics and caused enough of a stir on the South Florida metal scene that Universal took notice and quickly snatched them to a recording contract even though Puya had no intentions of writing lyrics in English, as evidenced by their 2 later releases for the label. This is raw, heavy, primal and, oh yeah, very Latin.
