The mighty Puya! This is what I grew up on. This is music very dear & close to my heart.This one's quite the rarity and, because of the somewhat poor sound quality, is intended to be for fans only. If you're one, then you're in for a treat. Recorded at Club Asylum in San Juan back in January 1999 prior to the release of their major label debut "Fundamental", this is the same show where the live footage for the "Oasis" video was filmed at. Puya might have unjustly gotten pegged with the dreaded "nu metal" categorization and didn't achieve more because of their almost lack of lyrics in English, but to those of us who've been fans since the Whisker Biscuit days (remember Mike "El Crazy Gringo" Smart on sax?) and who couldn't wait 'til they came back from Florida every year to see them play at Playmakers, Voodoo Lounge or El Anfiteatro, this is an essential download.
